- Founded 2004 by Joakim Arenius who just left his position as director of Europe's oldest gospel choir, Joybells. The singers and musicians are united by the vision to spread the word about a loving and living God through music that is rooted in the old african american gospel music, but performed and inspired by the modern r'n'b you hear on radio, the funky grooves you nod your head to when you turn up your car stereo, the beautiful melodies you enjoy on a comforting CD and the wild beats you dance to in the urban clubs. The first CD "Whole" was released in 2006. In 2008 came the Live DVD "the Whole tour" which was filmed by German television during Praise Units touring in 2008. In June 2009 Praise Unit will release "the Mission Field". Good for you that you are "almost" done with your trip home. But sad for us that you had to leave and your tour is over! Hope to see you again very soon!!!
